The gorgeous bay of Aponissos has an organised beach with sunbeds, umbrellas, water sports, as well as having free areas to swim, a small cafe, and a famous seafood taverna as well. The bay is used as an anchorage by large pleasure craft, while a small picturesque harbour is filled with local small fishing boats, and provides a stunning view of the adjacent craggy stone island of Dorousa.There are no lodgings available but access to Aponissos is easy via a paved road you can travel either by rental bike, or the local bus.
